Peel – This summer the Peel Children’s Safety Village will be open to the public for Pedestrian Pedal Power Days on the following dates:
- Tuesday, July 9th, 2019
- Thursday, July 11th, 2019
- Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 (few spots remaining)
- Tuesday, August 13th, 2019
- Thursday, August 15th, 2019
- Tuesday, August 20th, 2019
Bring your helmet and have it fitted by a Safety Village officer!
Officers will review key safety rules, including hand signals and pedestrian safety, before your child takes a tour of our miniature village. The outdoor portion includes either riding the jeeps or scooters and participating in a walk through our village.
Jeeps are for children in JK through Grade 2.
Bikes are for all ages. Please note that we have limited bikes and encourage children to bring their own to ensure they are able to participate. Children MUST bring their own helmet in order to ride a scooter.
Sessions with jeeps will run from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Sessions with scooters will run from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
***ADULT ACCOMPANIMENT AND SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED***
Sessions are limited to 25 children per session.
