Arvind Kejriwal’s sudden love for Kashmiri Pandits election stunt: BJP leader

Arvind Kejriwal’s sudden “love” towards the Kashmiri Pandit community is nothing but an election ploy with polls being scheduled in the Union Territory (UT), former deputy chief minister of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir and BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta, alleged. The AAP leader has a Masters’ degree in hypocrisy – the reason behind Kejriwal’s overnight affection for the Kashmiri Pandits, Gupta claimed, adding that if the Delhi chief minister is so concerned about the community, he should have given them some relief in Delhi by launching schemes for the community which is living in exile. The senior BJP functionary said that Kejriwal’s statements against the BJP government show his “cunningness” at a time when he is trying to cash in on the situation arising out of the unfortunate targeted killings in the Valley and alleged that the AAP chief’s eyes are set on the upcoming polls in the UT.Several entities have alleged that the AAP has taken funds from Khalistani supporters living abroad during the Punjab polls and now, by shedding crocodile tears, he is making a similar ground in J&K as well, the BJP leader further alleged.“People should remain wary about the foxy political tricks of Arvind Kejriwal. Being the chief minister of Delhi, Kejriwal should have helped combat terror mongers. But he is misleading people through his incendiary statements,” he added. The BJP leader made it clear that what the BJP government has accomplished in J&K, including the abrogation of Article 370, no other party or person can even imagine doing the same. Soon these attacks on soft targets will also stop, since effective steps have already been taken to tighten the noose around the violence mongers in the Valley, who are working at the behest of their Pakistani mentors, Gupta said. Kashmir has been witnessing a spate of targeted killings, with at least eight people being killed since May 1.
