Happy Canada Day!
This Canada Day, we celebrate our country and reflect on all that we have accomplished as Canadians. Let’s recommit to continuing building an equal and more inclusive Canada. We also thank our brave Canadian Armed Force members and first responders who serve our country and display unwavering sacrifice for Canadians.
Our government accomplished significant achievements before this Canada Day and the adjournment of Parliament for the summer. This includes the introduction of 14 bills in the House to deliver on key promises made to Canadians to make our communities safer, introducing key Canada Disability Benefit legislation to reduce poverty and increase financial security for Canadians with disabilities, and much more.
At every step of the way, we were focused on delivering real results to make life better for Bramptonains and all Canadians. The vision of a stronger and inclusive Canada, drives my work every day as I serve the constituents of Brampton South.
Thanks to the hard work and understanding between our cultural and religious communities, we live in a Canada that is diverse, inclusive, and compassionate. From my family to yours, I wish you a safe and happy Canada Day!
