BRAMPTON, ON (August 22, 2022) The businesses of Downtown Brampton are excited to announce that on Saturday, August 27, they will host a Salsa Dance Party in McArter Lane from 4pm-10pm.
Salsa, music and dance aficionados and their families are invited to listen and dance to live bands, enjoy delicious fare from local restaurants including Dalton’s Rotisserie, Pepper Shack, Mi Churros, Tadka King and more.
The lineup, curated by B-Jazzed is:
4:00pm: Salsotika
5:30pm: Carla Gonzalez
7:00pm: Salsotika
8:30pm: The Bachata Project
This family-friendly event encourages the community to visit downtown Brampton and celebrate latin music while supporting local businesses. Many businesses will be staying open late to cater to the crowd.

Salsa Dance Party is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. The Downtown Brampton BIA, together with its partners the City of Brampton and 8 80 Cities, was selected to receive $223,650 through the My Main Street Community Activator Program for Activate Downtown Brampton, a series of interactive installations and musical performances in Downtown Brampton’s laneways and public gathering spaces taking place until October 2022.
