Ashwani Tangri, the Owner of “Tangri Insurance & Financial Group Inc.” Mississauga and Chairman of SRT DAV Public School, Bilga, paid a heartfelt tribute to his Mata Sheela Rani Tangri on the 28th Foundation Day of Sheela Rani Tangri DAV Public School, Bilga on September 6 .
The school, founded in the beloved memory of his mother, Late Smt. Sheela Rani Tangri, is a leading educational institute in the area, providing quality education to over 1500 students. The ceremony started with sacred chants of Havan, followed by a heartfelt tribute paid to Mata Sheela Rani Tangri. The students of the school also put on a colorful cultural show that included Bhangra and songs.
The function was attended by various dignitaries of the area and ended with a langer served to the entire school staff, students, and the guests.
Ashwani Tangri also thanks Principal Mr. Ravi Sharma, DAV CMC President Padma Shri Poonam Suri ji, Director Dr. Smt. Nisha Peshin, Vice Chairman Shri Ajay Goswami, Manager Dr. Smt. Ajay Sareen, Assistant Regional Officer Dr. Rashmi Vij, members of the local management committee, and staff members of the school. Ashwani Tangri also told Asia Metro Weekly that they are planning to set up medical camps for the people in the area in November 2022.
