During the weekend, Liberal candidate Kamal Khera from Brampton East, Sonia Sidhu from Brampton South, and Shafqat Ali for Brampton–Chinguacousy Park participated in the campaign launch of local politician Amandeep Sodhi from Brampton Centre, attracting hundreds of enthusiastic supporters.

Kamal Khera introduced Amandeep Sodhi by noting that when she was elected, she was the youngest MP, but it seems Amandeep is set to break that record and become the youngest MP in Canadian parliament. Khera emphasized that her passion for politics runs deep, and she is committed to doing her utmost for both our country and the city.

Amandeep Sodhi spoke to the large audience, stating, “It is my privilege to represent the people of Brampton Centre.” Canada is currently experiencing a significant crisis that originates from the southern border. Donald Trump poses a threat not only to our economic stability and employment prospects but also to our national sovereignty. This election centres on identifying a candidate capable of effectively opposing Donald Trump while advocating for a robust economy that benefits all citizens. Mark Carney is the unequivocal choice.

Mark Carney showcases outstanding leadership by advocating for a response to US tariffs that encompasses countermeasures, safeguarding interests, and promoting growth. Meanwhile, Pierre Poilievre is adopting Trump’s strategies, sowing division among us and eliminating essential services that Canadians depend on. The liberal government is committed to ensuring the security of our nation, recognizing that this endeavour requires a collaborative approach. Your assistance is of utmost importance. Your support is crucial for our success and the advancement of Canada.

I urge you to consider extending your support to the Liberal Party. Endorsing Mark Carney will enable us to reconstruct a liberal administration and enhance Canada’s resilience.

While talking about Amandeep Sodhi She is graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Law and Public Policy. Amandeep brings a sharp and analytical mind, as well as a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to Canadians. Her hobbies and interests include cooking, staying active, crocheting, and volunteering.

Amandeep’s passion for politics was sparked by a desire to understand how progressive policies shape our country and empower individuals, especially women. Her passion was further cultivated during his time as the Vice President of the Women in Politics club.

Currently working as a legal assistant at a family law firm, her role has allowed her to develop skills that are vital in navigating the legislative process. Born in Toronto and having lived in Brampton, London, and Caledon, Amandeep is a second-generation Canadian who has firsthand knowledge of the challenges and strengths of our diverse surrounding communities.

In addition to her personal experiences, Amandeep is an active member of her community. She has devoted my time volunteering in various local initiatives, hence, contributing to a
stronger, more connected neighbourhood and helping to address the needs of those
around her.

As a dedicated lifelong Liberal, Amandeep has a passion for promoting women’s rights within the political and legal sphere, universal healthcare, and gender equality, and affordable housing.

Amandeep looks forward to the opportunity to contribute to the future of our country.
