Bonnie Crombie, Mayor of Mississauga, is now self-isolating at home after testing positive for COVID-19.
“Unfortunately, I tested positive for COVID-19.” I am adhering to all public health recommendations and will continue to isolate myself at home. “I’m still in high spirits, and happily, my symptoms are moderate at the moment,” she said in a statement Friday afternoon.
Crombie, who has had two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination, claims her effects are minor.
Crombie attended two events this week, according to her Twitter account, although it is unknown where she caught the infection.
