BRAMPTON, ON (July 18, 2022) The businesses of Downtown Brampton are excited to announce the return of BRAMOPOLY from July 16 – August 6, 2022. BRAMOPOLY is a family-friendly event where players collect property stickers from participating businesses to complete a game board. There are 5 ways to win over $5500 in prizes.
To play: Visit participating businesses to collect property stickers to complete the BRAMOPOLY game map. (No purchase necessary.)
To win: 1. The first 100 players to collect and submit a completed map automatically receive $20 Downtown Dollars.
2. Make a purchase over $15 at any of the 22 participating businesses to receive a prize card.
3. Upload an Instagram selfie from one of our Giant Game Piece selfie stations around Downtown Brampton to be entered into a draw for $100 Downtown Dollars
4. All submitted, completed maps are eligible for weekly draws of $100.
5. All submitted, complete or incomplete maps are eligible for the Grand Prize draw of $500 Downtown Dollars! Bonus: Kids, 3-12 years old are entered into a draw for a special gift basket when they colour their very own BRAMOPOLY map, available at the BIA Booth at the Farmers’ Market.
This fun and active event is designed to encourage people to walk around the downtown to discover what’s new, and rediscover old favourites. While the event lasts three weeks, the game board can be easily completed in less than two hours, with the hope that visitors will stay for a meal or snack and make plans to visit again soon. The best times to collect stickers are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Several of the businesses will be offering BRAMOPOLY-specific promotions and sales (to be announced).
