CBA Offers $25,000 Reward for the Arrest and Conviction of Armed Robbery Suspects

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau and Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad are seeking the public’s assistance with an investigation into a number of armed robberies involving various financial institutions.

CBA Offers $25,000 Reward for the Arrest and Conviction of Armed Robbery Suspects

In an attempt to further advance the investigation into these robberies, Peel Regional Police and Toronto Police Service, with the assistance of Canadian Bankers Association are offering a $25,000 reward. The reward is for information that leads to the arrest, and conviction, of those responsible. 

Between Wednesday, October 9, 2019 and Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at least three suspects were involved in a number of armed robberies in the Region of Peel and the City of Toronto. The suspects entered the banks and while being disguised and armed with handguns, they demanded cash. The suspects committed these gunpoint robberies in a violent manner without any regard for public safety. No injuries were sustained during the robberies.

The suspects are described as male, black, late teens early twenties, between 5’8” and 6’0” tall and a thin to medium build. They are believed to be utilizing at least two motor vehicles. A black 4-door Lincoln Towncar with yellow licence plates and a 2019 white 4-door Hyundai Santa Fe SUV/Crossover.

Investigators are appealing to the public who have any information into these robberies to contact the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 3410. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
