Crowd of a Thousand Gathers To Launch MP Sahota’s Re-Election Campaign

Brampton, ON – With less than 100 days to go until the Federal Election, over a thousand supporters gathered at North Park Drive and Dixie Road to help Ruby Sahota, the current Member of Parliament and the Liberal candidate for Brampton North, kick off her re-election campaign.
Ruby Sahota has been a tireless champion for Brampton and a strong voice for our community in Ottawa. She has been one of Brampton’s most vocal and effective advocates for more investment into Brampton including more community infrastructure and public transit funding, a doubling of the Gas Transfer to help City Council freeze property tax, and a multi-sector partnership with Ryerson University to bring their Cybersecure Catalyst to Brampton.
As a member of the Liberal Party, Ruby Sahota is proud to have worked with her colleagues to cut taxes for the middle class and small businesses, expand benefits for families and seniors, see the successful negotiation of multiple trade agreements. These policies have helped Canadians create over one million jobs, have the unemployment rate reach historic lows, and lifted over 800,000 Canadians out of poverty.
“Our Federal Liberal Government has been making a difference for Canadians and for Brampton since day one,” Ruby Sahota said. “I am proud to be running again to ensure the important investments we have been making in our community continue.”
If you want like to get in contact with Ruby Sahota or volunteer with Team Sahota, you can contact her at [email protected].
