Brampton, ON – September 20, 2023 – The Canada Truck Operators Association (CTOA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 18, 2024, at the picturesque Lionhead Golf Course in Brampton. This year’s event brought together industry leaders, members, and stakeholders and to discuss key issues, achievements, and the future of the trucking sector in Canada.
“This AGM not only allowed us to elect our new board but also provided an invaluable opportunity for members to voice their concerns and priorities. Together, we are paving the way for a more resilient and innovative trucking industry,” said Paul Nijjar, Member of the Board of Directors, CTOA.
The AGM began with a series of informative presentations highlighting recent developments and association updates. Following presentations, members participated in the election of the Board, reinforcing the association’s commitment to strong leadership and representation. The afternoon workshop session allowed for discussion about ideas, issues and priorities going forward. The day ended with a special meeting with the Deputy Mayor of Brampton Harkirat Singh and a cocktail reception.
