BRAMPTON, ON (August 13, 2021) The businesses of Downtown Brampton are excited to present BRAMOPOLY between August 14th, 2021-September 4th, 2021. BRAMOPOLY is a family-friendly event where players collect property stickers from participating businesses to complete a game board. There are 3 ways to play and 4 ways to win over $4200 in prizes.
To play: collect stickers (no purchase necessary) and/or make any purchase to receive a PLAY card and/or make a purchase over $25 to receive a DISCOVER card (guaranteed prize). To win: the first 100 players to complete and submit their game board receive $20; upload a selfie with any of the 4 designated selfie stations located in the downtown; weekly $100 prize drawn from submitted completed boards; $500 Grand Prize drawn from submitted completed boards on September 7, 2021. Special children’s colouring game board available for kids 3-12 with a prize draw.
After 16 months of Covid-19 lockdowns and closures, the businesses of Downtown Brampton are ready to welcome back guests. This fun and active event is designed to encourage people to walk around the downtown to discover what’s new, and rediscover old favourites, in a safe, self-guided way. While the event lasts 4 weeks, the game board can be easily completed in less than 2 hours, with the hope that visitors will stay for a meal or snack and make plans to visit again soon. The best times to collect stickers are Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-5pm. Several of the businesses will be offering BRAMOPOLY-specific promotions and sales (to be announced).
