Brampton South MP Sonia Sidhu said, “I am happy to introduce you all to the PocketWell App. Our federal government introduced this app to help people struggling with mental health and substance abuse.” This app will make mental health monitoring and resource access easier for Canadians.
Together, Greenspace, Health Canada, Stepped Care Solutions, Homewood Health, and Kids Help Phone launched the Wellness Together Canada (WTC) platform in April 2020. The portal gives Canadians free online mental health tools and the capacity to track, monitor, and analyze their mental health improvements.
To download PocketWell from the App Store or Google Play Store,

So far, 2 million Canadians have used Wellness Together Canada, and 70% of them use their phones. With that insight, we wanted to meet Canadians where they are and improve their overall experience.
PocketWell is the new companion app to Wellness Together Canada. You can use it to complete your self-assessment and access Wellness Together Canada resources from your mobile device. It’s a convenient way to carry Wellness Together Canada with you wherever you go!
PocketWell also has an exclusive, app-only feature: the mood meter. You can use this tool to keep a daily log of how you’re feeling and the situations or circumstances that might have affected your mood.
What’s the difference between the self-assessment and the mood meter?
PocketWell’s Mood Meter is like a daily journal. It lets you record how you’re feeling each day, through quick check-ins.
The self-assessment is based on clinical tools used by mental health professionals. It provides a more comprehensive picture of your well-being.
PocketWell makes it easy to review your past Mood Meter and Self-Assessment entries. By using both tools regularly, you’ll be able to see how your well-being changes over time and monitor any contributing factors. You can set up convenient reminders for both of these tools to ensure that you don’t forget to keep track of your progress.
Just like Wellness Together Canada, PocketWell and all of its features are free, and you won’t see any ads on the app.
We hope you give PocketWell a try and that this tool is useful for you on your wellness journey. We’re working behind the scenes to build more exciting features for Wellness Together Canada and PocketWell, so stay tuned!
The app is free and available to all Canadians 24 hours a day, seven days a week! “Learn more about this app and how it works,” said Brampton MP Sonia Sidhu.
