HALTON HILLS: The Miracle On Main Annual Toy Drive of the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation is back!

The Halton Police this week announced the start of this year’s campaign and tweeted; “This is just the start Halton. Leading up to the holidays we will be doing our annual toy drive #MiracleOnMain in partnership with @ TigerSingh_Fdn. Stay tuned for drop off dates and locations! Donations will help Halton families during the holiday season! ^Thank you @amazon for our first donation of #toys! Pls help us bring smiles to the faces of #children over the #holidays.”

Miracle on Main St. is a not-for profit charity operated by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) that aims to bring joy to children during the holiday season through the donation of toys!

Since 2009, millions have been raised through donations and sponsorships, and joy has been shared with thousands of families.

Although this year is a little different, we hope that we can raise more awareness and support than ever before!

The donations collected will be used to purchase toys for families in need of support throughout the Region of Halton, as well as several community organizations including the Salvation Army and Halton’s Women’s Place.

TJSF does not charge any administrative feeds so every penny raised will go towards the purchase of a toy. The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation (TJSF) is a registered charity founded by wrestling legends, humanitarians and philanthropists Tiger Jeet Singh and his son Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. aka Tiger Ali Singh.

Throughout their travels both men have seen their fair share of suffering and decided to use their celebrity to bring awareness and support for the plight of humanity. TJSF’s core mandate is to promote inclusion, support charities, women shelters, hospitals and provide funding for public school initiatives such as mental health, inclusive classrooms, breakfast programs and literacy.

TJSF does not charge any administrative fees, while promoting several key charity events throughout the year, which to date has raised over $15 million in combined donations and sponsorships.

Additionally, the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation has donated over half a million dollars to public schools in support of initiatives such as mental health, literacy, inclusive classrooms, health and nutrition.

Both Tiger Jeet Singh and his son Tiger Jeet Singh Jr. are known for being great community leaders and wonderful role models for children, who routinely visit Tiger Jeet Singh Public School and other schools promoting the message of inclusion, staying fit, anti bullying and saying no to drugs.

In recognition for their exemplary charitable work, Halton Regional Police Services appointed both Tigers as honorary police officers and ambassadors as part of their community out reach program. The Tigers are two out from only three people in Canada to have this honour bestowed upon them.
