“The best advice I know is to give those worldly things your best efforts, but never your all—reserve the ultimate hope for the only one who can grant it, it’s only you,
Thank you, God, for these incredible election days, for the leaping green spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky, and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes. And yes! “Our worldly successes cannot be guaranteed, but our ability to achieve spiritual success is entirely up to us — but never without your powerful blessing, so thank you, God, for your grace.
“Those blessings are sweetest, those that are won with prayer and worn with thanks.
“So thank you for another excellent chance to serve your people, my fellow Canadians.
“To thank the Almighty Waheguru Ji for being given another chance to serve his people as well as thank all of the voters and volunteers and family members.”
Sonia Sidhu, Member of Parliament from Brampton South, held Sukhmani Sahib Path at Nanaksar Gurdwara, 64 Timberlane Drive, on Oct 26th, where her Sangat (congregation) listened to the Gurbani Kirtan. The Kirtan has a healing effect on the body and mind as the Names of Lord are repeatedly chanted.
After the Kirtan and during the Path, Sonia Sidhu personally meets and greets every one of her guests and thanked them for all the support. And Free Kitchen Guru Ka Langar was served most of the day.
