BRAMPTON, ON (OCTOBER 25, 2021) – Downtown Brampton is presenting a festive fall lineup with three Halloween events for the month of October: a self-guided Monster Scavenger Hunt, Spooktacular Saturday, and The Great Pumpkin Party presented by the City of Brampton.

The Monster Scavenger Hunt runs October 16-30, 2021. Adventure around the streets of Downtown Brampton to find the different monster posters. It’s your mission to find the monster posters located in the 20 Downtown Brampton businesses storefronts to be entered for a chance to win $100 Downtown Dollars. Spooktacular Saturday will take place on October 30th, 2021. A Halloween-themed photo booth and treats will be available at Daily Times Square from 11 am to 2 pm. Treat bags are available to the first 350 children under 12. Spooky movies will be playing in Garden Square from 12 pm to 4 pm. There’s more fun to be had at Nelson’s Rooftop (top-level, Nelson Square parking garage, 2 Diplock Lane) from 11 am-5 pm with PUMPkin Bootcamp (A1 Fitness), pumpkin decorating, a live Halloween DJ (Jones & Jones), live pumpkin carving, food trucks and more!

This event is made possible with the generous support of the City of Brampton, Farzin’s No Frills, Greenwin Corp., Luxor Homes, Mocon Greenhouses and Sweeny&Co Architects.

The Great Pumpkin Party, presented by the City of Brampton, will be held on November 1st, 2021, at Ken Whillans Square from 4 pm to 8 pm.  Residents can dress in their Halloween costumes and light up their pumpkins one last time before they are invited to ‘smash’ their pumpkins to be composted. There will be free family fun activities, live entertainment, as well as popcorn and hot apple cider, being given out, while supplies last.
