These days, Indian democracy is underway to 2024 parliamentary general elections for 543 seats. Election Commission of India has issued the time schedule in various stages spreading from April 19 till June 1. Final Result of these elections will be out on June 04, this year. Election Commission declares Model code of conduct for all candidates to follow certain mandatory guidelines in their speech ( esp: Hate speeches) and spending behaviour. Use of Religion, religious places, Caste discrimination Campus of Educational institutions, Use of Cash and liquor, Violence blasting weapons, traffic jams, Sarcastic and personal character assassination of opponents etc are strictly banned and punishable under law. First day of election was on 19th of April when voting was conducted for 102 seats spread over 8 states. Before and after this day, various Election Manifestos were released by the participating political parties. INDIA Alliance led by Congress and ruling NDA led by BJP are in main role. Election campaigns are generally organised by addressing the voters at one bigger area where seating and stage arrangement is possible for a big crowd. Star speakers steal the show by wooing the audience with their report cards of schemes launched for public benefits to uplift the level of living style by providing employment or by reducing cost of Living especially for lower strata of society. This segment is a bigger vote bank obviously. Fed up from the plausible promises by politicians, the educated people rarely visit these sites because they know the gimmicks of these leaders .

Politicians by and large are wonderful actors of Election Movie. They tell trickery n white lies in such a confident style assuming that voters won’t remember their sophistry after elections. It is their time tested traditional mode of befooling and misleading the voters. Even National leaders to the tune of Prime Minister, use all tactics to show flowery picture of incentives by sharing wrong data about jobs , housing n inflation during the previous years under their rule . They try to level baseless, unfounded n uncalled for charges against the opposition about Religion, Caste, Customs so that Votes are polarised of bigger majority community in their favour. Recently in an open rally in Rajasthan, PM Narinder Modi has given very objectionable and totally wrong statement about the danger of selling ” Mangal sutra ” of Hindu married women by Congress to the Muslims. It has raised big hue and cry in the political circles. Surprisingly Election commission has kept the ears closed so far. Reasons are crystal clear ie favouring BJP ( the Boss).

India has been a secular country, having Hindu, Islam, Buddhism, Jains, Sikhs and Christians ever since the partition in 1947. Founding fathers of Constitution have deliberately added ” Secular and Socialistic ” words as our guiding principles. Meaning thereby that each Government would strive to minimise the unequal distribution of wealth in the country. There should be special drives for hitherto left behind communities to uplift their standard of living . But Modi led BJP rule has given the impression of pushing back the country to Manusmriti regime . All opposition parties should join hands to fight back together the reneged agenda and evil designs of BJP. Voters in general should learn the updates from social media , epapers, and foreign channels not from the Godi channels. Forked tongue, trickery lies and blame games should not sideline the real issues of the masses.
