A pair of suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred last summer, 22 Division has revealed. 22 Division’s Criminal Investigation Bureau said Monday that the two suspects were charged with multiple offences, including attempted murder aggravated assault, in connection with an incident that took place on Aug. 22, 2020 in the Hale and Glidden Road area in Brampton, when a 19-year-old victim was shot.
The suspects fled in a vehicle, while the victim was rushed to a trauma centre. Earlier this month, two men were arrested in connection with the shooting, including 31 year-old Neil Wilson, of Brampton, and 33 year-old Winward Saunders, of Toronto, the latter of whom had a conviction from a previous firearms-related offence. Both men appeared in court to answer to the charges on Jan. 23
