BRAMPTON, ON (February 7, 2020) – In January 2020, the City of Brampton was recognized by Forbes as one of Canada’s Best Employers 2020, a list of the 300 top employers in Canada.
In 2019, The City of Brampton ranked 66th on the Forbes List. In 2020, the City climbed to rank 48th out of 300. The City was one of only two Canadian Government Services organizations in the top 50 on the list, alongside the City of Ottawa.
Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to identify the companies liked best by employees in the annual ranking of Canada’s best employers.
Respondents were asked to anonymously rate, on a scale of zero to 10, how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others. Statista then asked respondents to nominate organizations other than their own. The final list, compiled by surveying 8,000 Canadians working for businesses with at least 500 employees, ranks the 300 employers that received the most recommendations.
