BRAMPTON, ON (July 31, 2019) – This year, Civic Holiday takes place on Monday, August 5. As a result, a number of City services will be unavailable or will operate under reduced service levels.
Brampton City Hall will be closed on August 5. Residents will not be able to apply in person for marriage licences, book civil wedding ceremonies, pay parking fines, apply for permits, or apply for or renew business licences during this time.
Several services will continue to operate normally, including Fire and Emergency Services and City of Brampton By-law Enforcement.
Brampton Transit will follow the below schedule for the Civic Holiday weekend.
- Friday, August 2: Weekday service
- Saturday, August 3: Saturday service
- Sunday, August 4: Sunday/Holiday service
- Monday, August 5 (Civic Holiday): Sunday/Holiday service
Customer Service counters at all terminals, and the Clark and Sandalwood facilities, will be closed on Civic Holiday.
