Today, Nina Tangri, MPP Mississauga-Streetsville held a very successful Annual Community BBQ at Streetsville Memorial Park.
MPP Tangri was able to meet and speak with approximately hundreds of her constituents including families, organizations, and students from her riding. The attendees were able to participate in delicious food while face painting for the kids. Also, local Mississauga chines dance group and singers Entertainment Tangri’s guest with special dance , signing and playing guitar.
Also, for Health presentations, information for various community organizations, Royal Canadian Army Cadets booths were very informative.
Nina Tangri commented, “This is a great event for the community to come out and have fun. It shows the vibrancy of Streetsville Mississauga and really highlights why Streetsville even the whole Mississauga is the best place to live, learn, work, and play!”
“It was a great day, a total success,” Tangri said. “We were certainly lucky with the weather, everyone had a fun time, and we had a wonderful turnout of both adults and children.”
Tangri’s 2-4 event, with guests being treated to hot dogs, burgers (both beef and vegetarian), cold drinks and desserts.
There was more than just food and fun, however. MP Tangri views this event as a chance to get important and immediate feedback from her constituents.
“We want to hear how people think we’re doing in the community,” Tangri said. “We want to hear what people see as the issues that are affecting them. Chatting with folks today, the feedback was very positive.
MPP Tangri also said she’s very thankful for all those who joined as a volunteer her BBQ and make it very successful.
